Essential Repairs

April 27th, 2021

WPD will be making essential repairs to the HV cables feeding the HV Pole Transformer opposite the car park gate due to a fault on the system.

Tarmac have spoken to WPD with regards to keeping the flow of traffic maintained.

All works will be done at the field end. All access will be maintained at the field end including the parking of stationary WPD vehicles.

All excavation plant will be kept on the field side. All spoils removed will also be kept on the field side.

With the above actions followed the flow of traffic will be maintained with very little or no disruptions.

Due to the location and the Transformer belonging to WPD and having no impact on the HV feed to our site this work is completely under the control of WPD.  Therefore, if you see anything or anybody acting in an unsafe manner you must speak with WPD directly.

This work will take place near the Skate Park, so please use with caution.
