Nottinghamshire flood hardship fund reopens – press release from Lincolnshire Community Foundation

NottsBus 833
*After operating a ‘demand responsive’ service since March 13th, we are returning to full regular pre-COVID timetables from Monday 6th July. This is at the request of Nottinghamshire County Council who fund the service.
*From Monday buses will operate their old regular timetables with 2 buses operating hourly to/from Bingham. 1 via Orston & Aslockton and 1 via the Cropwells.
*Concessionary passes are valid on all journeys after 09:30 Mon-Fri as per national guidelines. However, as an enhancement offered by NCC, passes can also be used on the 09:03 (Langar) and 09:05 (Barnstone) journey to Bingham via Orston. Passes are then valid on all Saturday journeys.
Service 93
*On Monday 22nd June, we started a new service number 93 between Bingham and Grantham, running 6 days a week.
*Journey time on the 93 is approximately 32 mins, there are 7 journeys to Grantham daily, with 6 return buses.
*Unfortunately this service cannot serve any Vale of Belvoir villages but locals can connect in Bingham Market Place where the bus uses the same stand as the 833.
*Concessionary passed are valid on journeys after 09:30 Mon-Fri and all journeys on Saturdays.
*Full timetable, and route map available via the weblink on the 3rd ‘general point’ below.
General Points
*Face coverings are mandatory on public transport in England (exemptions apply). Masks can be bought onboard for £2 if a passenger needs one.
*We are currently operating exact fare only to minimise transmission risks for fare payers.
*We have recently launched a new website to advertise the local bus services we operate, providing route maps, timetables, fare charts, and any other important information: www.vectare.co.uk/localbus
*We have recently launched 2 social media channels to help stay connected with the local communities we serve and their residents. These provide service updates, disruption information and act as a customer service channel. These are: Twitter – @vectarelive and Facebook – facebook.com/vectarelive
