The Parish Council has received queries regarding the recent Housing Needs Survey. For clarification, whilst the Parish Council received advance notification of reaffirmation survey from Midlands Rural Housing, the survey was not instigated by the Parish Council.
The survey need not be completed if the homeowner has no plans to move within the two villages within the next five years.

Congratulations to our own David Williams who has won the Volunteer of the Year Award at yesterday’s Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards, held at The Becket School in West Bridgford.
Since last year, David has spent around an hour a day collating, sorting and washing an incredible 2.6 million bottles tops from across Rushcliffe and far beyond at his Barnstone home, in aid of Dove Cottage Hospice. He delivers them to a recycling site before sending the equivalent plastic monetary value to the charity.
