Wanted – Eating apples!

21/10/2017 - 21/10/2017

A quick reminder that our Community Apple Day is this Saturday 21st October from 10am – 2pm at
The Green, Langar (near Langar Church NG13 9HG).

If you have any eating apples to spare, bring them along on the day, or we are happy to come and collect them, (they make superb juice!) You can take away the finished product free of charge.

We now have a pasteuriser, (kindly donated by Veolia), available for loan. Using glass bottles (we have a limited supply available at £1 each) you can preserve your juice instead of taking up valuable freezer space. The pasteuriser is also ideal for bottling fruit sauce and puree or whole fruit and vegetables.

Contact Jodi  on 01949 869794 or email jcarterdavies@gmail.com  for more information.
